Great project Jocelyn! I think it is important to take care of oneself regardless of age, so when the risk factors you cannot control begin to factor in, you've got a better chance of beating the diagnosis. It is pretty amazing how quadratics can be applied to something so very real- thanks for your work.
Thank you Alix! It's definitely something that's close to my heart and it was interesting to see how math can support the science that already goes to show how managing your risks and early diagnosis can increase your chance of survival, especially with age.
Well Fathi, it's alwas a good idea to take care of yourself. Exercising, eating right and getting regular check ups and monitoring oneself for changes and abnormalities are important at any age. It's important for all women to be breast aware and do self breast checks regularly, although it is a little more difficult for men to monitor and detect signs of breast cancer they too should stay active eat right and get regular check up.It is recommended that after the age of 40 women start getting mammograms as regularily as every year or two depending on which proffessionals you speak to. And if your considered to be at high risk it's recommended that you start even earlier.
Very professional presentation! The music really adds to your message about looking after yourself. Great job maintaining your post and participating in the comment section with other students.

Just a note, the question I am asking is "Is it more important to manage your risks with age?"
